Starting the journey and before arriving in Argolis, we will make a stop in Corinth, specifically in the historic Corinthian Isthmus where you can enjoy the view, take pictures, and enjoy your coffee.

Isthmus is a narrow strip of land that connects Central Greece with the Peloponnese, while the Corinth Canal, built from 1880 to 1893, reaches 6,346m in length and divides the Saronic gulf with the Corinthian gulf.

After Corinth as we reach Argolis, we will stop at the ancient theater of Epidaurus. There you will have the opportunity to admire the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, with a capacity of about 13,000 seats, which is an important part of the history of the Ancient Greeks. It is considered the ancient Greek theater with the ultimate in acoustics and aesthetics. It was built in the late 4th century BC. Wander around the theater, you have the opportunity to see the sanctuary of Asclepius, the sanctuary of Apollo Maleata, the beautiful Dome of Epidaurus, as well as the temples of Aphrodite, Artemis and Themis.

Next stop, the picturesque town of Nafplio. It has been the capital of Greece for five years (1828-1833) and has kept its image unchanged in the past as well as its local character. In our tour, we will see the dazzling medieval castles, churches, neoclassical buildings, statues and we will walk to Syntagma Square where the cafes and restaurants give off a pleasant feeling.

Of course we couldn't go back without visiting the archaeological site of Mycenae one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. Mycenae was the kingdom of Agamemnon and was inhabited since 2,500 BC. Known for the period from 1600 BC to about 1100 BC, which is the most glorious time of their history and prosperity, hence the Mycenaean period.

The main entrance to the Acropolis is via a gate featuring two lions on its hill, the famous Lions Gate.
